I just love their horns that curve so gracefully into a crescent shape. I do so admire your many journeys. It takes true dedication and purpose to make these dreams come true and to present these images.
I see the big herds are back again. With the bovine TB they were kind of scarce for a while until they brought in TB free ones and they could start multiplying once again.
This is the first time I understand why the animals we see here in Asia are called water buffalo. They sure look like cousins. I learned on another blog a few weeks ago that North America really has no buffalo (bison are misnamed), despite the famous song. And look at bison, of course, I saw no resemblance. Wonderful shots.
