I think giraffes the most lovely and graceful of creatures. This one seems to know you are there admiring. And what a beautiful landscape!

Absolutely fabulous. Africa has the most wonderful animals, but the giraffe is one of my favorites. I'd love to see at least part of Africa some day.

It amazes me how the different spieces of giraffe are very similar, yet the markings or colour are slightly different. Diane

Very nice! I've only seen giraffes in zoos, and wouldn't a reticulated one from an unarticulated mother goose. This one is quite beautiful!

These are so diferent to our Jose but quite spectacular with their distinct pattern. If I remember correctly, they also have four horns instead of two?

Didn't know there was more than one type of giraffe.

@Joan: I honestly don't know... I'll try to find out.

@Joan Elizabeth: There are 9 subspecies.

If you can enlarge your picture enough you should be able to see it Jose. One set is smaller and in front of the other.

I can feel the heat, looking at that dry bush. Giraffes are so elegant... it's lovely to see them move.
