The Canyon

Through this spectacular gorge the River Grijalva runs beneath cliffs that in places reach almost 1500 m in height.

That gorge is quite spectacular. The crocodiles are so well camouflaged. Great post.Diane

What a picture! What a place! Were you bothered by the fact that there were crocodiles lurking...waiting for a chance to eat you?

I see a huge iquana, too. Right? They might bite but they won't actually eat you.

I don't think...

What magic. One must feel transported back in time gliding down that river, gazing up at the canyon walls and watching the prehistoric creatures stirring along the lush green banks.
