Lift Off! What a perfectly timed shot JM. And what a handsome creature. We have many cranes here in the various lakes and marshes of coastal and southern California, but I've never seen one with such dramatic and striking coloring!

That was lucky to catch bird like that. I did'nt visite reserve d'oiseaux in India.
