Beautiful bird.I've only ever seen these in captivity.
A lovely bird to see.
Gorgeous bird and nice shot. I'm glad you caught it before it got up in the air otherwise you would have to crane your neck to take the photo! :-)
Terrific shot and beautiful bird!
Gosh JM, I didn't know your travels had taken you to Asia too. I am not surprised though. That is one awesome crane brother. Your magic camera brings us the world again!! Cheers to you good Sir!
I have yet to see a Crane of ANY KIND..its been my misfortune--You got a lovely shot of this one!!
Beautiful shot of the Crane, it is a beautiful bird.
This bird looks a bit like a grey crowned crane, minus the crest, of course! ;)
A beautiful shot of a gorgeous Crane JM!
Wow - what a great action close up!
That is a big wing span. Good shot.
A beautiful shot of the crane lifting off the ground.
These are related our Brolgas which I one day hope to see dancing.
What a neat action shot of a very interesting and unusual (to me) bird!
What a wonderful capture!
Lift Off! What a perfectly timed shot JM. And what a handsome creature. We have many cranes here in the various lakes and marshes of coastal and southern California, but I've never seen one with such dramatic and striking coloring!
Great shot! Cranes are fascinating birds, particularly after reading P. Matthiessen's book "Birds of Heaven"
Interesting looking bird, I have never seen one of those. Have a good weekend. Diane
Amazing red head on this crane. Nice moment to capture him, JM.
