Between the eyes and the way the "mouth" is turned up, it almost looks like this elephant is smiling at you!

Great shot, JM!

There is something about elephants that stirs our admiration and awe. They seem so wise, so perfectly at ease with themselves, and are so tender with their young. I am so glad that finally, it seems they can roam the earth in relative peace from human harm. Fabulous composition. I feel as if they should be walking right by on my computer's window!

Having been up close to elephants, I do find them to be a very gentle and friendly looking animal. Nice critter for your camera, JM!
