wow!! dangerous catch!! bravo!
Think I will keep my fingers out of the water in Peru! Diane
Did you eat it? Was it good? I have a pic I haven't posted yet of a guy holding one's mouth open in the big fish market. Very cool. He knows the tourists like that stuff. Those teeth are something else!!! I'd rather see one this way than in the water under adverse circumstances, and I didn't even see the movie. It's amazing how these fish capture our attention even as small children. I'll never forget the image I had when reading about a cow skeleton being picked clean in minutes (or was that seconds). I wonder if the this is the bigger, gentler black piranha?
@Tapirgal: I honestly have no idea what species this is and yes, I had it for lunch the next day and hated it! LOL! Can you imagine a piranha and banana soup? That's how they have cooked it... :-)
Oh those sharp pointy teeth and devilish red eyes! Wouldn't want to meet up with one of those while taking a little swim.
LOL!! I would be scared in case they took my finger of!!Piranha and banana soup?? SOunds disgusting so I can imagine that you did not like it. :)
Why did I think they were a small fish with a big bite?
I echo Joan... yuck soup! But this is truly a frightening animal. Did you catch it, JM?
