Camouflage is the right word. It is amazing how it matches the undergrowth. Diane

These things are very hard to see in certain areas. Our daughter is S. Florida has 15-20 of them living in the trees and pond in their back yard. I can see the tree shaking, go back there and look up and never see an iguana!

One year our son visited when we lived down there. He and I were playing golf on a hole along a canal. He was looking for his ball when he got the shock of his life - a 5 foot iguana was laying right in front of him!

It's amazing how well the iguana can hide in plain sight!

The world of nature has so much intelligence to impart. Sometimes, it is better to blend in than to stand out too much! Best Wishes to you for the Holidays!
