I can't help but wonder where you were when you took this shot. Fantastic! We have these birds here, but I have no clue where they nest and we have no rocky areas like these...

@Jacob: This is a small rocky island (called "H" because of its shape). I took this shot from another rock.

JM, we have cormorants in China, but they look very different. This is a great shot and I don't have one as brilliant, but I'll post one on my blog for you one of these days. :-)
