Superbes portes-queues...

Venir contempler la nature de chez toi, ça lui donne une toute autre saveur, et c'est tellement agréable...

We did see lots of spectacular butterflies at Iguazu. They are a nice bonus for people who come there for the waterfalls, and then discover that there is much more to see.

Incredible shot! I don't understand "moistered" though...are you saying it's wet and the butterflies are getting some moisture?

Oh I love this shot JM! They are truly amazing creatures. In a little over a month, we will be experiencing the annual fall Monarch Butterfly migration to Mexico and I hope I'll be able to make it to one or two of their stops here in SoCal.

I never seen so many butterflies in one clump. You captured the beautiful pattern quite well! Great capture!

@Jacob: Yes, you got it right! :-)

@BLOGitse: They are 'drinking' water! :-)

This is a lovely shot, JM! Beautiful colors, composition and subject! It's so intereting, too, to see how they drink from the ground.

What a beautiful sight this is Jose and a wonderful picture. They also get minerals from the soil like this.
