Looks like he/she is smelling the air. An unusual shot. Brings back memories of being charged in Gorongosa National Park, Mozambique. My father never reversed so fast in all his life!!! Diane
Now that's an interesting shot! Looks very surreal. Caught in mid roar with only the head showing with the body completely hidden by the dense foliage.
You got a pic of that elephant in the wild? Very nice shot.
Humongous!Jaguar and a 5running Mate

This is an absolutely wonderful composition! Great job!
Now that really is in the wild, we never see those here in Iowa........:).
Fantastic photo! I'm gonna claim this elephant for the University of Alabama! :)The 3R Ranch
LOL!! With a title like that, I did not know what to expect Jose. :)I LOVE elephants and have seen some of them balance on their back legs in order to gain more height to get to fruit in very tall trees like the Marula. :) They should join the circus. :)
I agree ... very surreal, reminds of Ganesha.I really like this shot!
Étonnant ! On dirait que la tête de l'éléphant flotte sans corps...
I wonder what this glorious elephant is doing? A stretch? A smell?
