Is it my imagination or are the horns slightly different to those here Jose? Also, they seem to have a bulge on the nose ours dont have?

There was not much for them to eat was there? Maybe the begining of the season?

In some places they are known to start migrating as they can sense when the rains are going to start and where. Amazing animals.

Joan, it never occurred to me these could be different from yours... I have to check my SA photos now! :-)
Yes, they are thin! It hadn't rain for 7 months when I visited Tanzania and there was not much to eat, everything was very dry. On the other hand, big cats were fat!...

What is this---the grumpy family? I guess I would be grumpy too if there wasn't much to eat. MB

Oh yes, I am sure the big cats were fat. They look easy game while they are thin and lacking energy. Diane

Why do they look scary to me?

Sorry I haven't visited sooner. Been under the weather.

Many thanks for visiting Norwich Daily Photo and leaving your comment. Come visit again tomorrow!
