This reminds me of one Christmas party we had when living in Mafikeng. The party was held at a croc farm and the restaurant was on a small island in the middle of the river. Not a night to get too drunk:-) Diane

I was looking at the reflection and I needed one or two seconds to realise that there were crocs in the view!Luckily I was behind my computer, and not on that shore! :)
Great catch!

Oh, yikes! We have lots of alligators - on one bike trip around a 15-mile loop in The Everglades, we say 150 gators...some in the middle of the trail! They didn't bother me that much.

Crocs, on the other hand, bother me a lot! I've read where in some places in Africa they eat 500-600 people a year - people so foolish as to wash their clothes in the river...

Oh my!! Hope that pool does not dry out more or there will be no space. When I was working at one lodge, I used to count the crocs on the sandbank opposite and there was usually in the region of 100-140, all various sizes. That was a river bank NOT to take a stroll along!!

Great reflections there. The crocs look almost harmless.

Your amazing shots remind me of my grandmother's story of when she found herself sunbathing on a beach next to one of these... but now I don't remember whether that was a croc or an alligator, and I also don't remember the difference. Jacob obviously knows. It was in Indonesia in the 1920s, so I guess I can look it up.

Cette fois-si, pas question de laisser ma main approcher de l'eau !

It reminds me one of those frog game, where you must from one shore to another by skipping on the crocodiles...

Nice catch !
