I just love these Oryx they are so pretty with their facial markings. Not sure I would like to get in the way of an angry buck though with those long, sharp horns!! Diane

Oh my. Look at those graceful long horns! A gorgeous scene. We are so lucky you have preserved these idyllic moments. What a blessing are the National Parks and Reserves. One of mankind's greater achievements. Sometimes the best action is to leave things alone.

I am always amazed that they survive in the desert areas where they are found. They seem to live well off the Tsama melons which grow there and the water they store in their humps. Beautiful animals, and the largest of our buck species.
