I reckon it would be a bit chilly to stay the night anyway. Great to see a glacier up front and personal like this.

That first shot is outstanding! What a thrill it must have been to stand there and look out over that miracle! The 2 little people on the bottom left really put a sense of scale to the entire scene. I love that.

Patagonia must simply be amazing. I think I read that pumas have the largest range of any land animal, but maybe that's not true, because mice must get around, but maybe for any one species. It's amazing to see that they live this far south and reach halfway up Canada in BC as well. I love these images.

If there are pumas around, I would not want to stay there...pumas are what we call mountain lions. Beautiful photos, JM!

I grew up in puma territory. I hiked and camped a lot and saw plenty of tracks over the years. I've heard them scream in the night a few times but have only seen one cat in the wild, and that for no more than a second.

Wow look at that Glaciar. It is huge.
Puma or Mountain Lions are my favorite big cat. They are so beautiful. I surely would not to tangle with one. We have sightings here occasionally. I had a baby one once that was found in a den with 3 others after the Mama had been killed. Alas it didn't live. MB

Beautiful shots of the glacier!
Just knowing it was puma territory would make me want to be out before dark. :)
Love the monkeys eyes in a few posts down.

My goodness jose, that is the last place I would ecpect to find puma's. I always associate them with forests and heat, not cold glaciers.

That is a magnificent picture of the glacier. You must have frozen your butt off being there to take it. LOL!!

Oh! Eu não me lembro nada disto...puma? Eu estava tão embasbacada com o Perito que não vi mais nada:))
