Another strange sight out of your camera JM and from the Amazon no less. Your week in pictures is amazing as usual. What exactly possesed you to get that close to a wasp ball?!
What a unique bird!! Boom & gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Very unique bird indeed. Great capture!
Thanks for sharing a lovely bird. A great capture.
What an interesting looking bird. Diane

What a handsome fellow or maybe girl. Don't know which..lol...
Great photo of an interesting bird.
One of the things I especially enjoy about your blogs is that I never know what you're going to come up with and what you do post is often totally new to me - like this bird. Never seen one and had no idea it existed. Is it called a "trumpeter" because of the sound it makes?
@Jacob: Exactly! :-)
Interesting bird. Did it sit down in some flour? Great photo.
Great capture of this unique bird!
Now this is a totally new bird for me, in shape, somewhat reminiscing of the S.African Guinea Fowl/A beautiful capture showing his snowy back and sooty body.
I love the color pattern on this bird!
rare capture!! congratulations!
I have this wonderful desire to see Machu Picchu--Peru must be beautiful..awesome bird!
I feel lucky just to see your photo of this striking bird!
You made the bird look like it's carrying an enormous egg on its back. Another angle might make it look like a walking target. Beguiling photo!
Thanks for comments. A great shot you are giving us.Have a nice easter.
Let me just echo Jacob... amazing bird.
