That is the largest Beaver Dam I have ever seen!

Beaver are not indigenous to Tierra del Fuego. They imported them from Canada to start a fur industry, but they did not grow commercial quality pelts in the milder climate in Tierra del Fuego. Without predators, they are ruining the environment by cutting down too many trees down there.

It is a bad idea for man to introduce non-native species to another environment. That includes man.
